Parasitic fly the cause of CCD?

Just wondered what you all thought of this possible suggestion in yesterdays Telegraph - Parasitc flies the cause of CCD

Not another pest! It seems likely that CCD is down to a number of issues, principally viruses, combining, so this isn't 'the' cause; but it could be part of the problem, vectoring diseases between hives. Thank heavens we dont have it here... yet.

The claim is that the Apocephalus borealis bug causes bees to "fly into the light",leaving affected hives without bees!!!

Imports from the USA have been banned for many years.
