I have read various publications and been given a few personal ideas as what kind of sugar can/should be used for feeding, can anyone else throw further light as to which type of sugar they prefer and why.

My local association champions white cane sugar never a mention of beet

Use beet sugar - no problems - last time I put some on they were in the feeder within seconds and they took it down in no time. In my opinion once it's refined it's all the same
