Yes.....somebody on here has a sig line that says, "The best way to make a small fortune from beekeeping is to start off with a large one" .....or something similar

It is a curiously addictive hobby and the appetite for new kit is happily fuelled by new stuff from various suppliers.....sigh!!!
So much so that various folk on here have very inventive strategies for hiding it from their OHs

Get a piece of wood the thickness of the space between the bottom of byte label and the bottom of the jar. Cut out a "<" shape with an opening as wide as your label. Then pop your jar into the < shape like this: <o and line up the lower corners of the label with the top of the wood.

Can we have some pictures of this solution?

Er yeah sure, it's bit late to be sawing wood but here's a rough mockup of the jig.. excuse the penmanship and imagine the bit of card is a flat bit of wood with a chevron cut out, the jar not half empty and the label not a roughly cut bit of paper...

Just line up the bottom corners with the wooden guide then smooth the label out. Very low tech :) Would probably work better with the back of the jar against a wall or something to stop it moving -or if someone's got time on their hands they could add a floor and a back.
