Is anyone using the Maxant Industries non drip bottling valve... or can throw any light on alternatives to the "so last century" honey gate!

And if anyone mentions "Flow Hives"...........................

Over engineering at it's very best ... mind you at $179 it's not the cheapest valve in the world ... looks beautifully engineered - although I did notice a drip pan on the floor under it in the demo video

or these - Mann Lake sell them in the USA for honey but the seem to be cast iron with a brass shut off plate - they are called Syracuse Valves as the company who make them are Syraco .. they do one with an aluminium body.
