Can somebody advise me why Manley's can't be extracted in a tangential?

I thought that it was some radials that struggled with them. That is because they are that bit wider at the bottom, and it is too tight to get the full basketful in.

I dont know of a problem with tangential extractors.

There is NOTHING stopping you extracting Manley frames in a Tangential extractor.

I extracted tons via one.

I think the argument is because the side bars are wider than the comb after you have uncapped it the comb might not be supported in a tangential extractor. But I've extracted tangentially - just don't be in a hurry and turn the frame over more than once.

Uncap. Spin gently until roughly half the first side is out.

Turn comb. spin gently again until about half is out, then speed it up to empty side 2. Gently.

Turn again and finish the first side.

It is NOT a fast process. If you want fast avoid heather. ;)
