1st bumble

Just seen my first queen bumble hovering around looking at prospective new homes. She was eyeing up the Anglian Windows van parked on the drive. Saw one of the window fitters duck for cover as she flew over!!

Ooh will keep an eye out, we had quite a few bumbles in our garden last year. Felt guilty as dug up a few that had made a home in my flower bed.

My father tells me he rescued a Queen Bumble on Wednesday. Gathered her up off our driveway and put her in a tupperware box accompanied by a little sugar in the greenhouse and after half an hour respite she was off and away.
