Does anyone use a vaporiser in a poly hive? For OA. If so what happened?
 
Ha ha ha ...holding my sides and cracking up! no ...I meant what happened in regard to the poly hive? Was the device held under the OMF or put in the entrance.....did it melt the poly hive at all? I only have polyhives and I haven't seen any posts about using vaporiser in them.
 
MB,Swienty and Paynes all done through the entrance. No problems at all
Paynes......bottom bars of two frames of nadired shallow were scorched but I did extend the vaping time.
Next time I'm increasing the dose by 0.5g and sublimating from under the OMF at the back of the hive.
 
Great...I will look into getting one for next time...much easier than disturbing the bees...moving the fondant etc.
