nail gun for making frames

Yes - I picked one up and examined it - inless it was a novelty frying pan with an electric flex and which fired nails

I have a tackwise nail gun but prefer to use gimp pins.
The reason?
Well if you are careful enough you can remove the nails and break the frames back down to their components. This has 2 benefits. Firstly you can replace broken bits, usually the sidebars, and secondly you can fit a lot more frame parts than full frames in a big saucepan of boiling caustic soda solution.
