I didn't say it was bad .. if there is something to add to a thread then I'm all for it ... but, if you look at some of the threads that have been brought back to life this week there is nothing in the way of a new comment or perspective added and it tends to clutter the way many people use the forum. IE: Open up and hit the NEW POSTS button ... you then find that some of the new posts are just someone adding to their post score with a welcome or Ha ha.

For instance ... a new member being 'welcomed' six weeks after they joined, who hasn't been on the forum since two minutes after their first post and five weeks after the last welcome post !!

Just clutter in some cases.

This particular thread we are on I found distasteful and would rather it were left in the box rather than being bumped.
