Hi I am Alyfarm and I work on a community farm as the Child and Youth Officer. We have a few hives on site and myself and a few other members of staff and volunteers have undertaken training to work with Bees. I have just been successful in receiving funding for a Bee project involving in Hive webcams with live streaming onto the web with ourselves and few other organisations in eastern Europe. Has anyone got any experience of webcams in hives and can tell me the best equipment to get, what to look out for etc? Any advice welcome.

A Google search may provide some answer, I believe "Quince" in Somerset ( may have gone to the wall with massive losses?)had an observation hive with a video link set up in real time. may have been Portreath bee center?
