can anyone recommend a breakdown of frame classifications and sizes?

thanks

sort of answered one question and now have another.....
found a rough breakdown on the thornes website but now i am wondering if i should use DN2 top bars for my 12 * 14 frames ?

In all things like this Dave Cushman's site holds most of the answers. This is a good starting point for your particular question.

The Thornes online catalogue also has a table of sizes and designations, I believe. :)

Work on the same principle as buying tools

GET THE BEST YOU CAN AFFORD AT THE TIME

Personally I work on a sliding scale: BS=bad MD= good (16X10=the exception which is pretty good!).

Regards,
roland

thorn's packs of 10 14x12s frames come with DN2 top bars

Is that right having just bought £600 quids worth and a good bit of the order being 14x12 frames never got that imprecision on line I will have to check that with Mr Thorn
