cheap apideas?

Playing with the idea of giving queen rearing a go next season... these seem cheap compared to some british suppliers, even before the euro crashed. Maybe I should order some to be delivered at families home before going there this summer...

Irish Bee Supplies has two different types - hard plastic and polystyrene versions, although the latter is currently sold out.

So it seems like they are only ridiculously overpriced in the UK as per usual... I will definitely not buy them here then.

The latter type is a swi-bine, can be bought for around £8.50, also from Swienty.

£19.50 in the UK (Bee Equipped)
versus €22.50 in Belgium ...

Hardly a "ridiculous" difference (all the more so once delivery & foreign exchange charges are factored in), IMHO.

Check out the price in Switzerland, where the things are made!
