My bees were comming in today covered in white /grey pollen ,looked as if they were just hatched ,any ideas of pollen source,no balsam around

No marks on back, you would think they got a flour dusting,1/4 mile away from urban setting so could be anything,

i have a lot of off white creamy pollen going in but its not balsam, looks a bit like blackberry but thats gone over.

I have musk mallow growing in the garden, it has white pollen and bees scrambling down into the flower to get the nectar get absolutely dredged in it.
