Here`s some pictures of my poly nuc from Rooftops converted to 14x12. I thought about it for ages and in the end it took about 20 mins to convert it so i`ll probably get another couple for next year.

A couple of my hives are getting totally honeybound. I`ve only got foundation and they can`t pull it out fast enough to cope with the major flow we`ve got on at the moment. If i remove the uncapped honey in the brood box and give them foundation they just draw it out and fill it with stores...

I had a go at grafting today. I managed to pick them up ok with my stainless steel grafting tool but i couldn`t seem to get them to come off into the little plastic cups. I managed it in the end by pushing them off (very gently) with a fine blade of grass :) Any tips ? Darren
