I have had a look at all my hives this afternoon, (17) and I found 30 sleeping wasps in total under the roofs and in the top edge of some of the supers. they were all looking big as I think they were in the process of turning into Queens.....
If you look at Thornes web site, they have a thing that looks like a "kettle element" that you just stand in the solid honey and over night it will warm it back to "runny" honey. They cost just over £100 but I have been using one for years.
Best thing since sliced bread.
