    Inspection after a swarm

    Hi, I caught a swarm late Saturday afternoon and they seem to be working well bringing back pollen. When would you recommend I do the first inspection of them? I was told three weeks so should I just leave them to it and let them settle in? Michael

    Skep Making Kit

    Hi everyone, I was recently given a pile of old Bee Craft and Bee journal books from the 1980s. In one of the books there was an advert for a Skep making kit :smash:, obviously not available now because that was in the 80s but does anyone know where I could purchase a "kit" nowadays????

    Top Bar Hive

    Good Morning, I am going to have a go at using a top bar hive this year and have some questions regarding them. If I was to use a queen excluder in the middle of the hive, so have one half for queen and brood and the other for honey, and made sure the entrance/exit holes were the honey side then...

    Slightly confused!!!

    Good Evening, When the frames in the supers are ready to have the honey extracted do you just remove them frames and put in new fresh frames or put the old ones back??? Michael bee-smillie
