    Captured swarm..

    Wouldnt I see all the bees coming out to join the rest of the crew on the tree if the queen was not in the nuc? The nuc is now some 50 feet away.

    TBH I was not going to open the nuc until say a week has passed.. did that on previous occasions and returned to find an empty box..

    G'afternoon all, I had captured an early swarm in a nuc box but the rest of the bees which were not captured have returned back to the same location and seem to have started working comb on the tree branch .. any pointers as to this behaviour please?
