Box (Boxus semperverins) is great for hedging (the topiary one). Also in the spring if you don't prune it then it is covered in tiny white flowers for a few weeks that Honey Bees and Bumble Bees love.

A way to get a reasonably good picture of something that small is to put a small x10 magnifying lens up against the lens of a digi camera.

I do to make sure all is ok. As a first year beekeeper I need to see exactly what is happening now to know what it should be next year.

Mine take from Cornflowers, Sedums, Roses, etc in the garden all close to the hive.
