Nothing today scoutwise in Solihull although a swarm has been reported to the local branch in search of a collector.

My swarm box is currently getting zero attention. I suspect though would the forecast really improve that the situation will change within a week.

I have bought the liquid version that is made and packaged as Api-Bioxal. The list of Varoa treatments authorised in England states Api-Bioxal then in brackets (powder). Does this technically mean that pre-mixed solution is technically not allowed? I guess it's no different to the end user...

Arguably Soft Set is the same as regular liquid honey. The only difference is that something is used to stir the soft set honey with the seed batch to homogenised. If you add two batches of liquid Honey together, common especially if you consider that a super can have honey from different...

Weather in Solihull has my bees still building up / expanding their brood nests. I suspect that colonies will with good wheather still try to swarm as lengh of daylight may well trigger some colonies even if they are low on numbers this year.

I guess you could wash some laundered money by paying way over the odds for your own old rubbish. 🤣
