you need to turn the soil -at least 1 foot deep -and sit down and pull out its long black roots. let it come up again and repeat. in 2 years i was virtually free.

had exactly the same situation last year at the same time - fed the remaining frames to other hives with no problems.

Im in East Sussex and theres been quite a lot of Activity near the hives (mainly chucking out dead bodies) today with the sun shining.

hi using a porter escape and after 24 hours about 2/3 of them are still there . double checked the queen wasnt with them . Any ideas? Thanks. B.

Can use a cheap micro USB Camera , but useful only for winter peeking.

no heather nearby , and it wasnt like that at extraction ( last July) . couple of other bottles crystallised, but this one bottle is more like a "jam" texture.

Hi opened a jar of last years honey and its more like a Jam .,with a surface tension and gel like structure. tasted great,but wondering whats caused it ? was stored in the dark in a cool room.

hi i know its a bit early , but how do you transfer the small yellow frames from the mini nuc into a normal sized poly nuc ? do you just stack them inside the polynuc ? thanks B
