    Thanks for all of your replies... These bees are bees from hell, my gut feeling is that I don't want them in my apiary, I going to sleep on it and make a decision at the weekend...thanks again to everyone, D

    Thanks Redwood and HM Honey...was going to re-queen,just windy about even taking the roof off now.. little horrors....was temped a little earlier to go for the petrol option...incidents like that can make you reconsider beekeeping... thanks again.. D

    Just been attacked by a ferocious hive in my apiary, they were from a swarm I collected locally in the spring... They have always been really aggressive, was hoping they would quieten down after the queen got settled in and started and laying which she has done etc.. I had to rapidly retreat...

    August Gap

    Checked my national hives yesterday, loads of bees, queens laying...But virtually NO stores, Emergency feeding put in place, OSR honey removed in the spring, just wondering has anybody else been surprised by the lack of honey in the supers and brood box...

    How annoying!

    I had a neighbour say he had one of my honey bees in his conservatory...he lives about half a mile away from my hives...sometimes I am lost for words with people who live in the countryside...they have no interest in there surroundings at all...
