Aneebe

Retired biology teacher - trained as a palaeontologist so brachipods and bees are my preferred species. Maine Coon lover, Irish fiddler, fan of no dig gardening. Live on the edge of the Belfast Hills 600ft above sea level on a North facing slope. Adore bee keeping but finding neighbours increasingly unreceptive to the idea alas despite my 1/4 acre garden. Have recently secured a council provided "bee pen" within their allotment - 3 hives moved there. Also a small area higher in the hills but quite bleak/ lack of forage. I like trying out new recipes and crafts so have had a go at everything from candle making to creaming honey. Life's an adventure. Keep walking.
