raising new queens

hi guys , i live in nofolk uk and am looking for some one to help me lean how to rais my own queens ,ive read it up but sorry to say dont understand much of it , as im new to bee keeping,if there is any one that can help please email me on cuptophat@hotmail.com. thanks for reading my notes , my name is john,

    John,

    Perhaps this would have been better placed as a thread in the queen rearing section? I would suggest its getting late in the season to rear queens, although not impossible IMO. I am sure others would disagree, however, that said we have run such courses throughout the year.
    Try reading Vince Cook's - Queen rearing simplified book its not too complicated and will give you some idea.

    why not get an apidea and give it as go. presume you have a hive that can afford to loose a bit of brood and a couple of cups of bees?
